Horry County Communities

Longs

A growing community in northern Horry County with more room to spread out, newer neighborhoods, and an easy drive to the beaches of the North Strand.

Life in Longs

Longs is an unincorporated community in northern Horry County, inland from North Myrtle Beach and Little River along SC-9. It has a quieter, more rural feel than the coast, with wooded land, open space, and the Waccamaw River nearby.

Many people choose Longs because it offers room to breathe while keeping the beach within reach. North Myrtle Beach, Little River, and the shopping and dining of the North Strand are a short drive away, and SC-31 (the Carolina Bays Parkway) makes it easy to get up and down the Grand Strand.
